Will Smith has been a vocal supporter of Barack Obama and his plan to extend taxes on the welathy, but during a trip to France he was asked if he would support a 75% taxation rate precisely what is being proposed by new Socialist President of France.
Business Insider explains, "The Hollywood megastar enthusiastically preached the book of paying one's fair share of taxes in a French TV interview this weekend."
"But when questioned about his opinion on the tax policy of French president-elect Franois Hollande, Smith's was shocked silly by the recommendation of a seventy five percent taxation rate on those earning above 1 million annually," reported BI's Alex Biles.
"I have no difficulty with Will Smith," Glenn said at the start of the video.
Glenn explained that Smith shares the same opinion as many in Hollywood the rich have to pay more in taxes.
In the interview, Smith replies with a "God Bless America" and a giggle upon hearing President-elect Hollande's proposed rate of 75 percent.
"You can see the actual shock of that number," Stu asserted. "( Smith ) is not a tax expert in European economics. It strikes him as shocking as it should strike you."
